Save streaming media or audio/video from any website to watch later, with IDM -simply working way

Since you landed on right place :), you can now easily capture or download and save your favourite video or audio from any website like Youtube, Vimeo, Hulu, Netflix, BBC, Usatoday and literally whatever site is out there on the web(popular or not) to watch later, even if video/audio is copyright protected (not-recommended). You can download streaming media from internet in many ways, but most of them may not work always. we are going to learn how to capture any video or audio the easy and working way, in Step -by- Step instructions :

 Step_1. Download Internet Download Manager( IDM )  Download Internet Download Manager 

Step_2.  Open the setup file  idman623build12.exe

Step_3. A window notifying to install Internet Download Manager opens, Click Next >

Step_4. To confirm your agreement with terms and conditions, Click Next >


Step_5. Select the drive and folder to which you want to install IDM, default drive is C: drive
               Click Next >
          


Step_6. Click Next > to help you install IDM.



Step_7. Click Finish > to complete IDM installation and finish the setup

 
So far you installed external download manager( IDM ), now you need to install Flashgot to get the job done. Flashgot is a firefox browser add-on and acts as a bridge between browser and external download manager (i.e IDM in this case)

Step_09.  Open up firefox browser and go to "open menu" tab  and click on "Add-ons".


Step_10.  From add-ons page, search and install Flashgot add-on for Firefox. After installing the add-on, restart the browser.

Step_11.  Go to "Open Menu" tab and click on "Add-ons". In "Extensions" tab go to flashgot 'Options'. Click "General" tab and from "Download Manager" drop-down menu, select "Internet Download Manager".



Step_12. In 'Flashgot Options' dialog box, click "Flashgot Media" tab and select "Internet Download Manager" as "Download Manager" from drop-down-menu.


As soon as IDM detects any downloadable content in browser, following button appears automatically.

You can also use "Flashgot Selection" and "Flashgot All" features.

Thats it :)..now you can capture/download and save any streaming media and stuff ( e.g audio/video, links, images) from any website in your browsing window using IDM integrated with Firefox and Flashgot.
